Our school has achieved its third green flag in May 2024 in recognition for our school's excellent environmental work.
Each year the children in Primary 4-7 have the opportunity to create their nomination to present to their peers who then vote for the Eco committee members for the academic year.
Our Eco committee members work on achieving actions to bring about improvements to our school and looking after our environment. We have worked hard to create an outdoor play area recently and we also promote recycling and reducing school waste in our school.
Mrs Hawthorne is our Eco coordinator who helps the children plan lots of activities for the whole school throughout the school year. We also work with a variety of outside agencies who support us also.
