We had a wonderful World Book Day today! 💛📚
The children enjoyed a special assembly celebrating the joy of stories and our classrooms were full of colour with so many brilliant costumes. Everyone loved sharing their favourite books and listening to new stories throughout the morning.
A huge thank you to Nicholas, our local librarian, for visiting us and sharing such lovely stories with the children. The teachers especially enjoyed hearing 'Peace at Last'! 😉We also took time to chat about how important it is to use our library regularly, explore new books and discover stories that spark our imagination. We rounded everything off with our World Book Day parade, which was a lovely way to celebrate reading together as a whole school community.
A huge thank you to all our wonderful parents for the amazing costumes, for helping with competition entries and for coming out to support us on our walk — we really appreciate it!😊
