A massive well done to Josh and three other junior Kilcronaghan bowlers who played for Mid Ulster in the Junior Interzone competition at Belfast Indoor Bowling Club, Shaw's Bridge.
Josh was part of a team that played 2 matches in a 2 rinks format, facing an experienced North West team. They recovered from a slow start and reeled them in, with both rinks winning to take the game. Then they faced a very good South Tyrone side, where one MU rink managed to take their game, but unfortunately it wasn't enough to win the match overall, with an exceptional skip having a big influence.
Following these two matches, unfortunately other results went against the team which meant they didn't qualify for the semi finals.
We are very proud of Josh and we hope he had a great day out and gained lots of experience.
