Today the children in Year 6 and 7 took the challenge of making their own longship using a variety of tasks.
The children were able to estimate the length of a longship and then use a variety of strateiges and equipment. They then answered lots of questions regarding the information they found on the length of a Viking longship.
Pupils then worked together to find the widest part of the boat. From both these pieces of information, the children then decided to draw out their boats.
