Ulster-Scots Club Session 2

20th Sep 2018

Another fab session from the Ulster-Scots. We not only learnt why drums were used in the army but also how they are made and just how loud they can get! Everyone had some point had to cover their ears as the drum filled our school hall with noise.

Willie taught us about the importance of the lambeg drums and how they have been used throughout history.

We now look forward to next week when we will be learning about the Bag pipes! Well done to the children for thanking Willie on behalf of all the children for coming today and teaching us lots of interesting facts and knowledge.
