Sustrans - Gold Award

We were delighted today when Steven, from Sustrans, arrived to present us with our Gold Award for Active School Travel. We have worked extremely hard alongside our active travel officers and our own school champions since joining this programme. 

Mrs Hawthorne would like to thank everyone for their support and involvement in all the activities that have been held to help us achieve this award. 

The current Sustrans champions have worked very hard in supporting Mrs Hawthorne, so today they had a cup of tea and buns along with a good chat with Steven to say thank you for all his support and hard work.

This year concludes our support involvement with the Sustrans officer in school  but we will continue to work hard and continue the fantastic work of Active Travel in Tobermore Primary School. The next level to work for is a Gold Ambassadors Award. So let's keep up the good work. 🚴🏻🥇
