The boys and girls in Primary 4 & 5 started the term off by having a great day with our friends from Straw PS.
Our morning session was led my Sinead McDermott who did an art lesson with the children based on still life. She took the children step by step to create beautiful masterpieces using pastels and paint. The children were so engaged and creative. The finished work was just wonderful!
After lunch we welcomed Jolene from IHeart again for our second session on changing our mindset and thinking positively. Both the children and staff greatly benefitted from Jolene’s information and advice.
The children engaged in conversations sharing their ideas and thoughts on different scenarios.
We all had a great day and cannot wait for our next day together.
