This term, P3&4 have been exploring the Seaside as their new topic! We have looked at local beaches and different coloured beaches around the world. 🐬🐢🦀🪼
The children loved creating their own tropical sunsets using oil pastels to create a lovely beach scene. We also explored how beaches are formed, using sugar cubes and coloured water to show erosion in action. The children loved predicting and observing what happened.
They have also enjoyed spending time in their own classroom seaside beach and various other activities related to it.
