We have just finished our Polar Regions topic, and we really enjoyed finishing it with some exciting science experiments.
We learned all about penguins, including their life cycle and how their feathers help keep them dry and warm in the cold. To explore this, we carried out an experiment using crayons and water spray to see how water behaves on different surfaces.
We also enjoyed another experiment using milk, blue food colouring and washing liquid. The colours moved around the milk, and each pupil had a turn trying to lift the bubbles.
Everyone had great fun taking part in the science activities, and it has been a wonderful way to end our Polar Regions topic.
