Last Thursday, Primary 1 & 2 had a great day with our friends from Straw PS at their school.
Our morning session was led by Colours Pottery Studio where they taught us how to paint on pottery. We had previously designed our plate and today, got to paint our jungle designs on our plates. What a creative bunch we have! Our plates were taken back to be baked in the kiln and we will get them at our next Shared Education day.
After break, we made rainsticks which are musical instruments used in the jungle. These were made from kitchen roll tubes which we designed and added tinfoil, rice and tissue paper covers on each end. A lot of fun and noise was made after this before we came back to school.
