We had a brilliant day at Parkanaur learning all about nocturnal animals. On arrival there was certainly a chill in the air, however the children soon warmed up as they had to run to the correct animal as lots of statements were read out e.g. this animal has sharp spikes and lives in a sett. After a short snack and time to get to know each other we set off into the forest. The children saw many animal homes and really enjoyed playing under the big tree. A huge thanks to Glen Primary School and the staff at Parkanaur for a fabulous day.
