Over the last few weeks, the P6/7 class have been observing the changes in our class caterpillars. 🐛
A project to resemble our P7 leavers, we have watched the caterpillars grow, and grow, and grow.
We then handled with care as they developed into a chrysalis during one of the most important stages of their life.
Today, we were welcomed into the classroom by a beautiful Painted Lady butterfly. 🦋
The children watched in awe as the newly hatched butterfly spread its wings.
Over the next week or so, we will watch them prepare for their escape into the big world, ready for their next adventure, much like our wonderful P7s. 🥲
