The children have been working very hard, in their topic of 'Money' this term. They have been using coins to make amounts, adding amounts and calculating change, sorting coins and problem solving. They have really enjoyed the practical element of this topic. Please try, when possible, to let children deal with money in everyday situations. For example,e counting out money for school dinners, milk money, trips, etc. Encouraging children to use money in shops when buying items. We look forward to many more exciting money lessons this term. It is just a pity at this time of the year it didn't grow on trees!!!
