What a fantastic, action-packed day! Our Eco and Sustrans committee planned activities to celebrate Mini Marathon Day with a focus on health, fitness, and enjoying our local green space. We kicked off the high-energy day inside with an active Joe Wicks workout. Everyone got involved—and yes, that included the staff! After this we walked down to the park to participate in our official Mini Marathon. Everyone had great fun completing the distance by walking, jogging, or running laps around the park. It was wonderful to see so much determination and encouragement. As an extra-special treat for working so hard, we took some time to play tennis and enjoy some well earned fun in the fresh air. After lunch, the excitement continued! Mrs Hawthorne brought out a fire pit, and we all had a brilliant time making and eating delicious s'mores. To finish our amazing day, we sat down together and completed our Joe Wicks activity booklets. A huge thank you to everyone who made our Mini Marathon Day a great success!
