P5 had fun today using their metre sticks and cm rulers to work out the different lengths of objects in the classroom. They were able to decide whether or not to use 'metres' or 'centimetres' to complete their measurements.
P6 pupils also were involved in measuring things in their classroom and converting into metres and centimetres using using decimal points.
P7 were asked to convert kilometres into metres using decimal points.They had to find the distances between Tobermore and various towns and cities in Northern Ireland. Pupils then had to create the longest journey they could using the same process.
