P3&4 have been enjoying the lovely weather this week and taking lots of learning outdoors. ☀️
In numeracy, we focused on capacity outside. P3 estimated and measured using non-standard units, while P4 worked in millilitres and litres. The children were measuring containers themselves and had great fun.
In phonics, they went on a clue hunt to find words linked to their sound of the week, working together to read and solve the clues.
The children also enjoyed some play in the afternoon.
