P1 & P2 had a fantastic day of fun-filled learning today. The children were busy exploring lots of practical activities through play, and their enthusiasm was brilliant to see.
In Literacy, they used musical instruments to tap out the number of syllables in our topic words, then worked together to sort pictures into the correct rhyme buckets. There was lots of laughter and great teamwork.
In Numeracy, things got competitive as they raced to see who could build the step pattern the fastest, both ascending and descending. They also put their thinking skills to the test by guessing the colour of the rods selected.
A wonderful day of active, hands-on learning — well done boys and girls.
