International Day of Peace P1 & P2

Today we celebrated, ‘International Day of Peace’. We took time to think of all the children in war torn countries throughout our world and how we can help them in any way. We watched the story of ‘This is our house’ by Michael Rosen and afterwards discussed how we could make sure that our class is a safe and peaceful place for everyone. Then we looked at the Bible to see what God said about peace and how Abram solved the arguing between the servants. God wants us to be generous and not fight with people, ‘Let’s not have any quarrelling between you and me’ Genesis 13:8.
