Our Assembly this week focused on healthy eating and the different food groups which foods can be classified into. Mrs Smyth introduced a very special visitor to our assembly, who was welcomed with cheers of joy…….🍌Bananaman 🍌 The children went on to watch a video of the different food groups and the importance of a balanced diet. Children then got to sort foods into healthy and unhealthy categories. The assembly was ended with some beautiful singing from the children. We hope 🍌 Bananaman 🍌 had a good time at our school.
