‘Together We Learn, Together We Achieve, Together We Celebrate’

Over the past few weeks, our children have been practising earnestly for the Coleraine Music Festival, and what a wonderful day of performances it has been!

🎢 Our P1–P3 Choir delighted the audience with their renditions of “Big Bass Drum” and “Let’s All Fly a Kite.”
They were absolutely AMAZING, earning Runner Up with a highly commended score of 86! πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ€©

πŸŽ‰ Time to Celebrate! 🎢
The adjudicator’s comments said it all today — “nice,” “confident,” “well‑blended,” “nicely in tune,” “singing with confidence and joy,” “lovely,” “enthusiastic,” and “Super job!” πŸ’›
Our children truly shone at the Coleraine Music Festival, and we couldn’t be prouder of their joyful, confident performances.
Well done, everyone! πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ€©

🎡 Our P4–P7 Choir commenced with vibrant performances of “The Bare Necessities” and “The Happy Wanderer.” Once again, they impressed with their lovely, controlled singing.

The adjudicator’s comments were exemplary, praising their “lovely controlled and super clear sound,” their “joyful phrases and echoes,” and the “lovely, relaxed smiles” that brought the performance to life. He noted how beautifully the children told the story of the song, and he particularly loved the split parts and crisp word endings — all culminating in a well‑deserved “really well done!” πŸŽΆπŸ€©πŸ‘πŸ»

They too were AMAZING, achieving 2nd place with a highly commended score of 86 — just one mark away from 1st place! πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ€©

Huge congratulations to all our children for their brilliant efforts and outstanding performances. 🌟

A special mention must go to the pupils who introduced the musical pieces—your confidence shone through, and even the adjudicator commented on how impressive you were with super clear announcements! πŸ˜‰πŸ‘

Thank You to Our Staff

None of this would have been possible without the hard work and dedication of Miss Mitchell and Miss Henderson, who worked tirelessly to prepare the children for today. Their leadership, enthusiasm, and musical expertise shone through as they guided both choirs with such clarity, energy, and encouragement.

They led the children so well, giving them great direction, building their confidence, and bringing out the very best in every performer. We are so proud of you both. πŸ’›πŸŽΆ

A huge well done and thank you to both of you for everything you poured into today’s success. πŸ‘πŸ»βœ¨

Thanks also to Mrs Palmer, Mrs Hawthorne, and Mrs Smyth for supporting preparations, encouraging the children to learn their words and actions with precision.

A further special mention to all our support staff, including Mrs Robb, for organising behind the scenes and providing supervision. πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»

Our heartfelt thanks also go to Mrs Bolton, who so kindly gave up her own time to attend rehearsals, offer her expert advice, and accompany the children so beautifully on the day. πŸŽΉπŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»

Your skill, guidance, and willingness to support made such a difference — we couldn’t have done it without you. πŸ’›

To Our Families & Friends

Finally, enormous thanks to all the parents, grandparents, and friends who came along to support the children.
Your presence meant so much to them—and to us. πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»
