The Mid Ulster District Council promote Fairtrade Fortnight in order to get schools to take part in a variety of activities to raise awareness of Fairtrade. Mrs Hawthorne completed a short questionnaire telling them of some of the activities we had planned to do in our school.
We were delighted when we heard our school had won one of the three Fairtrade Hampers and also that we were invited to attend the forthcoming Fairtrade Schools event next Monday.
The Eco Committee are looking forward to tucking into the basketful of goodies. Watch out for further activities planned!
