Recently P1 & P2 entered an art competition organised by the Ulster Museum. The requirement was to produce a still life 2D picture collectively as a class or individually. We decided to do a collective piece to showcase our individuality and the importance of coming together. We called it, ‘All different, but all special’. Whilst we didn’t win the competition the judges awarded the children with a certificate for ‘Outstanding Achievement’ and commented how impressed they were with the amazing standard of their artwork. The children were also given special recognition stickers. Well done to the boys and girls and to Mrs Fletcher and Miss McArthur for assisting the children.
