Bubbles the Parrot visits P1-P3

As the children in Mrs Speers’ class are learning about pets and the children in Mr Hunter’s class are learning all about birds, Miss Hegarty very kindly arranged for a special visitor to come into school. There was a lot of excitement when the children met Bubbles the parrot! His owner Pauline told us so much about Bubbles and how she takes care of him. Bubbles really enjoyed his time with us, showing us his dance moves, cuddling and kissing all the teachers and telling the children to sssh! When it was time to go home, Bubbles was very mischievous and wouldn’t stop playing peek a boo on Mr Cheevers’ shoulders. He also left a little surprise behind him! 😉🙈.
