Today the P6/7 class finished their Eggsperiment on how different liquids affected egg staining.
We learnt that egg shell is made from a similar substance as tooth enamel so the results would be directly related to how the liquids affected our teeth. We made our predictions and gave reasons based on what we already learnt and then waited.
After a few days steeped in Fruit Shoot, Coca Cola, tea, coffee, protein shake, vinegar and water we observed the results and finished our scientific writing.
Afterwards we used toothpaste and a brush to clean the eggs to see what was easiest removed.
