As we are approaching the dark evenings and mornings P1&2 children were reminded by our friendly community police officer to play in safe places, hold an adult's hand when walking along footpaths and 'Be Safe, Be Seen'. Each child was given a pack containing a variety of reflective items to attach to their coats, schoolbags and/or bicycles. The children also discussed the important topic of 'Stranger Danger' and what to do in various situations. The police officer gave the children some homework - to learn their home address - so make sure you do as she'll be back to check up!
